About us
Mission Statement:
Winton URC exists to reach out to the surrounding community, to reveal God's love to them and to encourage each other to grow in faith through discipleship, fellowship and prayer.
Services:
Sunday morning services start at 10.30 am with the lighting of a Candle, when we have some moments of quietness and pray for Peace.
Holy Communion is taken on the first Sunday in most months. It is an open table where all who love the Lord Jesus Christ are invited to receive the bread and wine, symbols of his forgiving, life giving, love.
Church Parades take place on the fourth Sunday of most months. Members of the Guide and Boys' Brigade sections join us and the emphasis is more aimed towards, and often led by, the younger generation.
Following the Service, tea, coffee and squash are served. This gives an opportunity to talk to the Worship Leader and other members of the congregation.
A magazine is printed for most months, which gives further details about the Church and its activities.
Chinese Christian Fellowship
The Poole Chinese Christian Fellowship worship in our premises on Sunday afternoons from 1.00 pm and hold a Bible class on Wednesday evenings at the home of one of their members.
